Organizers announced Wednesday that the Canton R&B Fest featuring Brownstone and Sunshine Anderson has been moved indoors because of forecasted inclement weather.

The concert, scheduled for Saturday, July 18, was originally planned for Centennial Plaza in downtown Canton. It will now be held at the Canton Civic Center.

According to organizers, the decision was made due to the weather forecast for Saturday.

VIP doors will open at 4:45 p.m., while general admission doors will open at 5 p.m.

Seating will be available for all ticket holders, including those with VIP admission. Outside food and beverages will not be permitted inside the Civic Center.

Anyone who purchased tickets through Ticketmaster will receive an email with additional information in the coming days.

“We apologize for any inconvenience this venue change may cause and appreciate your understanding,” organizers said in a statement. “We look forward to welcoming you to the Canton Civic Center for an unforgettable evening of great music, outstanding performances, and an incredible night of entertainment.”

Organizers also said buy-one, get-one tickets remain available through Ticketmaster.
