An individual died Wednesday evening after experiencing a medical emergency while on the roof of a commercial building along the Strip, according to the Jackson Township Fire Department.
Fire crews responded to the scene April 15 for a reported medical incident, said Denny Tan with the department. The individual was located on the roof and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Emergency responders assisted with accessing the roof and safely removing the individual, Tan said.
The incident appears to be medical in nature. The body was transported by a funeral home, and the Stark County Coroner’s Office will handle any additional details related to the death.
