Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that left a man with life-threatening injuries Friday, Nov. 7.
According to Canton Police, officers responded at 7:09 p.m. to the 200 block of 12th Street NE for a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.
Investigators said the victim, identified as James Hill, 67, was crossing Market Avenue N south when he was hit by a dark-colored vehicle traveling east. The vehicle fled the scene after the crash.
Hill was transported to Mercy Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The Canton Metro Crash Team responded to the scene and is continuing to investigate.
