A 42-year-old mother of five remains hospitalized with serious injuries after a two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Osnaburg Township.
According to the Canton Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 3:30 p.m. Oct. 3 at the intersection of state Route 43 and Baum Road. Investigators said Kristie Fetty was traveling south on Route 43 when another vehicle pulled out in front of her from Baum Road.
That second vehicle, occupied by a 43-year-old woman and a juvenile, was determined to be at fault, according to troopers. It remains unclear which of the two was driving at the time of the crash.
Fetty, who’s children attend Minerva Local Schools, was the only person injured. She was first taken to Aultman Hospital by Osnaburg Township EMS before being flown to a hospital in Akron for further treatment.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
