An 83-year-old man died after a house fire in Osnaburg Township on Saturday, according to the Stark County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies and the Osnaburg Township Fire Department responded to the blaze in the 2700 block of Sunlight Avenue NE. The man was found inside the home and taken to Aultman Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
No one else was inside the residence at the time of the fire, officials said.
Multiple fire departments and a fire marshal assisted at the scene. Authorities said the fire does not appear suspicious, but the investigation remains ongoing.
