Sports personality Pat McAfee brought his daily ESPN talk show to the front lawn of the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Thursday, broadcasting live ahead of the Hall of Fame Game between the Detroit Lions and Los Angeles Chargers.

The high-energy show featured Hall of Fame enshrinees, live audience reactions, and even a taste test of Almost Heaven Ice Cream — a locally owned Stark County favorite. McAfee kept the crowd entertained with commentary and interviews, but saved the biggest surprise for later in the show.

Over an hour and a half into the broadcast, rapper and Cleveland native Machine Gun Kelly made an unexpected appearance, sparking loud cheers from fans in attendance.

McAfee’s live broadcast added a fresh burst of excitement to Hall of Fame week festivities, bringing national attention and a party-like atmosphere to Canton.
