On Wednesday, May 10 at approximately 4:37 p.m., officers from the Akron Police Department responded to a call from a citizen in the 900 block of Valdes Avenue who reported discovering a body near her home.
Upon arrival, officers located the body of an adult female who was deceased. No signs of trauma were immediately evident.
The Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office will perform an autopsy to determine the cause of death. Investigators are currently attempting to identify the victim and notify her family.
