30-year-old employee dies at Massillon manufacturing facility after apparent suicide

A 30-year-old employee died after an apparent suicide at a manufacturing facility in Massillon over the weekend.

Massillon police and emergency crews were dispatched to Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) on Warmington Road following a report of a person who had fallen. Upon arrival, first responders determined the employee had died.

Authorities believe the death was the result of suicide. No foul play is suspected.

The incident occurred at the workplace while the man was an employee of the company. Additional details about the circumstances surrounding the death have not been released.
