A portion of 15th Street NW between Woodland Avenue and Cleveland Avenue has sunk, prompting city officials to close the road Friday.
The cause of the sinking remains under investigation. The Canton Engineering Department is working with other public works divisions to determine what caused the ground to give way and to begin repairs.
No estimate has been given for when the road will reopen.
