“He will be deeply missed”: Beloved Claymont teacher dies in farming accident

The Claymont City School District is mourning the loss of a special ed teacher, Mr. Luke Logan.

“Luke will be remembered for his sense of humor and his generous spirit,” a Facebook post from the school district read. “He connected with students on a personal level, especially those who shared his passions, of farming, hunting, and baseball.”

According to Logan’s obituary, he died Tuesday in a farming accident.

“He will be deeply missed by the students and staff,” the post continued.

Logan, 44, was a lifelong resident of Carroll County’s Perry Township. He graduated from Carrollton High School in 1998.
