Federal agents arrest Hall of Fame Village shooting suspect in Tennessee

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Darryl Harmon, the suspect wanted by the Canton Police Department and the United States Marshals Service for felonious assault.

Harmon, 35, is suspected of shooting another individual after an argument on March 3. The incident occurred in the 2100 block of Hall of Fame Way NW, Canton within the Hall of Fame Village.

Harmon was arrested Tuesday morning, two days after the alleged shooting, in Antioch, Tennessee – a town just over 10 miles away from downtown Nashville.

The suspect is facing one count of Felonious Assault.

Some establishments within the Hall of Fame Village were closed on Monday following the incident, but all businesses were reopened on Monday.

Trauma counseling was offered to workers within the Hall of Fame Village that were working at the time of the shooting. Officers say the shooting was the result of an argument between two individuals and is believed it be an isolated incident.
