The Canton Police Department is investigating another homicide in the city.
Officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of Otto Pl N.E. for reports of a shooting at 12:38 Friday morning. When they arrived to the residence, they located Bryson Barksdale, 35, of Canton unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the neck inside.
The Stark County Coroner’s Office responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
Barksdale is the city’s eighth homicide victim this year.
No arrest have been made in the shooting as the investigation continues.
