Biden, who is vaccinated and boosted, is said to be experiencing “mild symptoms”, including a runny nose, fatigue, and occasional dry cough.

Biden, who tested negative on Tuesday, will continue to work at the White House, where he will isolate until he tests negative, according to White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. Daily updates on Biden’s condition will be given during his isolation, she said.

Biden is the second in-office U.S. President to have officially tested positive for the coronavirus, after former President Donald Trump was announced to have tested positive back in October 2020.
