Various Tuscarawas County schools competed on Monday at New Philadelphia’s Woody Hayes Quaker Stadium.
Dover senior Joey Farthing set meet records in two separate boys events: Long jump (22’7″) and high jump (6’8″). Farthing also won the boys 100-meter dash (10.98).
Other boys’ events winners included: New Philadelphia’s Chance Rennicker (200, 22.63), Trevor Bean (400, 49.91), Kayden Schoelles (800, 2:01.41), and Owen Brady (3200, 9:39.22); Tuscarawas Central Catholic’s Jackson Triplett (1600, 4:16.10); Dover’s Jordan Heaston (39″ hurdles, 15.33) and Ryan McVicker (shot put, 51-11); Garaway’s Ty Winters (36″ hurdles, 41.09); Indian Valley’s David Adams (pole vault, 16-04.5); and Claymont’s Kurt Haney (discus, 146-01).
New Philadelphia’s relay team of Rennicker, Stashawn Deetz, Willy Wallace, and Evan McInturf won the 4×100 (44.72), while Bean, Deetz, McInturf, and Rennicker won the 4×200 (1:32.35). The Quakers also won the 4×800 (3:31.99), while Garaway’s Bobby Palmer, Parker Graf, Brendan Chapman, and Quinten Schwartz won the 4×800 (8:47.75).
On the girls’ side, Dover earned individual wins by Emilyn Feller (100, 13.32), Ava Zobel (200, 26.85; 400, 1:01.34), Alyssa Feller (100 33″ hurdles, 16.04; 300 30″ hurdles, 48.14), and Reis Johnson (pole vault, 10-06).
Other individual event winners included: Tuscarawas Valley’s Hannah Wyler (800, 2:16.09); New Philadelphia’s Cambri Mushrush (1600, 5:33.62; 3200, 12:10.56) and Kaitlyn McConnell (high jump, 5-00); Strasburg’s Riley Thomas (long jump, 15-11); Garaway’s Makayla Sitzlar (shot put, 35-09.50); and Claymont’s Arianna Terakedia (discus, 113-03).
Dover won the girls 4×100 (52.71) and 4×200 (1:49.72) relays, while Tusky Valley won the 4×400 relay (4:11.97). Indian Valley took the 4×800 race (10:35.84).

Louisville edged Barberton in a Monday match.
Austin Beck (5-6, 7-5, 6-2 over Coby Kamp) and Riley Nieschwitz (6-3, 7-5 over Thomas Paulson) each won singles matches to lead the Leopards, while the doubles pair of Garett Chilson and Isaiah Gray won in straight sets (7-6 (9-7), 6-2) over Paul Campbell and Markel Gomez).
The Leopards improve to 6-5.
