Emergency crews were requested to the scene of a vehicle in a pond Tuesday morning after 7 a.m. in the 4000 block of State Route 516.
Divers were immediately deployed and performed a search of the car and the immediate area surrounding it, according to a Facebook post from Dover Firefighters IAFF local 324.
Upon the initial search of the vehicle, no occupants of the vehicle were located. The Tuscarwas County Sheriffs Deputies and Ohio State Highway Patrol Officers were able to identify and locate the driver using the vehicles license plate.
Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
Departments from Sugarcreek and New Philadelphia also responded to the scene for assistance.
