Paul Brown Tiger Stadium was home to the Massillon Tigers’ 41-23 win over Reynoldsburg High School on Friday night.

The Tigers’ offense ran away with the contest after going into halftime with just a 9-3 lead, courtesy of Camden Beasley’s rushing touchdown.

However, the Raiders took a 10-9 lead in the 3rd quarter after quarterback Dijon Jennings ran for a score.

That lead lasted for less than fifteen seconds after Beasley took the ensuing kickoff eight yards down the field for a touchdown to bring Massillon back to the lead, 15-10 (17-10 after a successful two-point conversion).

Willtrell Hartson then added to the Tigers’ lead with a rushing touchdown, followed by Jennings throwing a touchdown to receiver Markez Gilliam, setting up a 24-16 score.

Hartson then continued the Tigers’ scoring with a second rushing touchdown, and after a Tigers field goal, Austin Brawley intercepted Jennings and returned the pick for a touchdown to make it 41-16.

Jennings did score a late touchdown to set up the final score, 41-23.

The Tigers advance to 2-1 and will play at Warren Harding High School next Friday, while Reynoldsburg falls to 0-3.
