The Newcomerstown Police Department is investigating the death of a 15-year-old boy, according to a press release from the department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Police received a report of a deceased juvenile in the 500 block of South River St Tuesday afternoon around 3 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When officers arrived to the scene, they located the 15-year-old dead inside the home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Tuscarawas County Coroner and Bureau of Criminal Investigation assisted at the scene, the press release says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The cause of the teen’s death is pending an autopsy by the Cuyahoga County Coroner’s Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 15-year-old was a student at Newcomerstown High School. The school district sent a message to parents that grades 9-12 will operate on a 2-hour delay and all tests were canceled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
