A Canton man was transported to Aultman Hospital after being stabbed in the rib area, Police Chief John Gabbard said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Webster Ave N.E. for reports of a stabbing. When they arrived, they located Anthony Depalmo, 46, of Canton, with a stab wound to the ribs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Depalmo was able to communicate with police and told them he was in a confrontation with a known suspect which resulted in him being stabbed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The stabbing suspect, who remains at-large, was quickly identified as Terry A. Leach, 45. Arrest warrants were filed against Leach for Attempt to Commit Murder and Felonious Assault.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
