Drivers traveling along U.S. Route 30 east of Minerva will need to plan for detours next week as the Ohio Department of Transportation begins a culvert replacement project.
Beginning Monday, Aug. 25, the highway will be closed between Stump Road and Minerva Boulevard from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day. Work is expected to wrap up by Friday, Aug. 29, ODOT officials said.
Traffic will be rerouted onto state Route 183 north, state Route 172 east and state Route 9 south before reconnecting with Route 30. The detour will operate in reverse for westbound drivers.
