The 2026 Divisions IV, V, VI and VII girls basketball All-Ohio teams were announced Monday by the Ohio Prep Sports Media Association, recognizing the top players across the state based on regular-season performance.
Selections are based on nominations from the seven OPSMA districts.
Several athletes from the Carroll County and surrounding coverage area earned statewide recognition across multiple divisions, led by first-team honorees and a strong showing in Division IV and Division VII.
DIVISION IV
Carrollton senior Kylie Ujcich earned first-team All-Ohio honors after averaging 13.4 points per game, highlighting a strong season for the Warriors.
West Branch freshman Madi Hoopes was named second team, while Canal Fulton Northwest junior Ally Sharrer landed on the third team.
Minerva senior Ireland Kirkpatrick and Indian Valley senior Bayli McConnell were both recognized as special mention selections.
Carrollton also saw Emma Shafer named honorable mention, while Northwest senior Alivia Greenfield and West Branch junior Audrey Eaton were also included in the honorable mention list.
DIVISION V
Claymont senior Ava Edwards earned third-team All-Ohio honors after averaging an impressive 20.3 points per game.
Tuscarawas Valley junior Elli Wallick was also named to the third team.
Several area players received special mention recognition, including Sandy Valley junior Cali Eckinger and Fairless junior Ella Wade.
Among honorable mention selections were Fairless junior Bailee Espenschied, Sandy Valley senior Teresa Petro, and Tuscarawas Valley junior Aleah Wozniak.
DIVISION VI
Canton Central Catholic had a strong presence, led by junior Grace Finefrock, who earned second-team honors. Teammate Sarah Belden was named to the third team, while senior Lily Belden received honorable mention recognition.
Southern Local freshman Katie Kellogg earned third-team honors after averaging 22.8 points per game.
Additional local recognition included Newcomerstown sophomore Laynie Matchett, who was named special mention, and Southern senior Allyssa Shroades, who earned honorable mention.
DIVISION VII
Strasburg-Franklin senior Sofia Secrest highlighted the area selections with first-team All-Ohio honors after averaging 14.6 points per game.
Teammate Ally Miller was named to the third team.
Malvern sophomore Ella Debo and Tuscarawas Central Catholic senior Nora Jackson earned special mention recognition.
Additional honorable mention selections included Strasburg-Franklin’s Olivia Spidell and Lydia Thomas, Malvern senior Addy Mitchell, Tuscarawas Central Catholic sophomore Mya Olson, and Conotton Valley senior Isabella Higgins.
