High Noon is recalling some of its Beach Variety Pack vodka seltzers after discovering the cans were mistakenly labeled as Celsius energy drinks, according to a notice posted to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s website.
The recall affects an unspecified number of 12-ounce cans containing High Noon’s vodka seltzer but mislabeled as “Celsius Astro Vibe Sparkling Blue Razz Edition.” The cans feature a silver top and may appear to be non-alcoholic energy drinks, raising safety concerns.
The mislabeled products were distributed to retailers in Florida, New York, Ohio, South Carolina, Virginia and Wisconsin between July 21 and July 23.
According to High Noon, the issue stemmed from a packaging error by a shared supplier, which mistakenly sent Celsius-branded cans to the cocktail maker. No injuries or illnesses have been reported in connection with the mix-up.
Consumers in possession of the mislabeled cans are encouraged to return them to the place of purchase or contact High Noon for guidance.
