Authorities continue searching for a 20-year-old Alliance man who has been missing for nearly a week, while investigators pursue reported sightings and other leads across the region.
Nathaniel “Nate” Hang was last seen around 3:16 a.m. Wednesday, June 3, driving a white GMC pickup truck on North Union Avenue in Alliance, according to information released by family members and law enforcement.
Hang is described as having dark brown hair, brown eyes, a full beard and mustache, a small build and weighing approximately 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and gray sweatpants.
Search efforts in recent days have included a body of water off Webb Avenue in Alliance, located in Lexington Township. Authorities investigated the area after what appeared to be a vehicle was spotted during a drone search. However, Alliance Police told Jordan Miller News that after further investigation, no vehicle was located.
Police said the search of the area remains ongoing.
Investigators have also received reports of possible sightings of Hang in Salem and other surrounding communities. Alliance Police said officers continue to follow up on every lead and reported sighting they receive.
Family members have said Hang has been struggling with mental health issues and may be in danger.
The missing man’s vehicle is described as a white GMC pickup truck bearing Ohio license plate KTM3203.
Anyone with information about Hang’s whereabouts is urged to contact Alliance Police or call 911.
The investigation and search efforts remain active.
