Lady Lions continue to dominate on the course as they remain unbeaten

Minerva’s girls golf team continued its dominant season Wednesday, remaining undefeated with a convincing home win at Great Trail Golf Course.

The Lions posted a team score of 174, topping John Glenn’s 195 and Claymont’s 254 to improve to 11-0 overall and 5-0 in Eastern Buckeye Conference play.

Sophomore Peyton Beaumariage led Minerva with a 40, followed by freshman Emery Sell and junior Delaney Sell, who each carded 44s. Senior Hannah Kirkpatrick shot a 46, while seniors Mady Bartley and freshman Savanna Bartley rounded out the scoring with 49 and 50, respectively.

Minerva will look to keep its perfect season alive when it travels to face West Branch at Westville on Aug. 21.
