Police are investigating an incident of a sexual nature between a resident and an aide at Centreville Village, an assisted living facility in Carrollton, according to Police Chief Tim Timberlake.
Timberlake confirmed to Jordan Miller News on Friday that police were notified about the incident on Tuesday, Aug. 26. He declined to release further details, including the identities of those involved.
“I can confirm it was sexual in nature,” Timberlake said. “It’s still under investigation.”
Centreville Village, built in 2016, provides housing and care for individuals needing daily assistance while maintaining independence. The facility offers 24-hour staffing, medication administration, meals, social activities, and other amenities for residents.
