Country music will take over Atwood Lake Park this weekend as the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District and WTUZ 99.9 FM host Country Waves, presented by Ferris Chevrolet Toyota.
The concert is set for Saturday, Aug. 16, featuring headliner Jackson Dean along with Matt Stell and Cody Clayton Eagle.
Dean, known for his platinum debut single “Don’t Come Lookin’” and other hits including “Fearless” and “Heavens to Betsy,” will close the night with his signature gravel-toned vocals and high-energy performance. Stell, whose songs include “Prayed For You,” “Everywhere But On” and “Breakin’ in Boots,” will perform ahead of Dean. Eagle, a West Virginia native and former “American Idol” contestant, will open the show at 5:30 p.m.
Tickets are available at www.mwcd.org/concert. General admission is $35, VIP tickets are $75 and junior tickets for ages 5–10 are $25. Children 4 and under are free. All tickets include parking and access to the park for the day, with gates opening at 4:30 p.m. Ticket prices will increase the day of the event.
Food trucks and a beer garden benefiting local nonprofit SAVE22 will be on site. Lawn seating is first-come, first-served, and guests are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets. Outside alcohol, coolers and pop-up canopies are not permitted.

- Jackson Dean: 8:30 p.m.
