A well-known coffee and donut chain is preparing to make its debut in Tuscarawas County.

Real estate broker Terry Everett of Infinity Representatives said Dunkin’ has purchased the former Long John Silver’s building on Bluebell Drive NW. The sale was finalized Tuesday.

Everett said company representatives have been working with city leaders to ensure all requirements are met before renovations begin. The remodeling process is expected to take several months before the store is ready for customers.

The project adds to a growing list of national fast-food expansions in the area, joining recent announcements from Taco Bell in north Dover and Chick-fil-A in New Philadelphia.
