A 25-year-old woman was injured Monday night after being struck by a vehicle in Perry Township, according to police.
Officers responded around 8:40 p.m. to the area of 12th Street NW, between Overdale Avenue and Springvalley Street NW, for a report of a pedestrian hit by a vehicle.
When officers arrived, they found the woman had been hit by a vehicle traveling westbound on 12th Street. She was transported for medical treatment. Her condition has not been released.
Police said there were no witnesses at the scene, and no identifying information about the vehicle or driver is currently available. The make, model and color of the vehicle are unknown.
Investigators are asking anyone who may have seen the incident or has surveillance footage from the area to contact the Perry Township Police Department Detective Bureau at 330-478-5121. The incident is being investigated under case number 2025-09770.
The investigation remains ongoing.
