AM 1310 WDPN, the sister station of Q92 Radio, has announced that longtime local broadcaster and sports personality Sam Bourquin will join its weekday lineup with a new afternoon talk show beginning Monday, April 28.

The program will air live Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. on AM 1310 WDPN and will also be streamed live at AM1310WDPN.com. Listeners can additionally catch the show across social platforms, including X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, and YouTube, on the AM 1310 WDPN, Q92 Radio, and Q92 Radio Sports pages.

Bourquin’s new show will feature his signature commentary on sports and local topics, along with exclusive interviews and analysis. Known for his deep community ties and years of experience behind the mic, Bourquin brings a fresh yet familiar voice to afternoon radio in Stark County and beyond.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Sam to the WDPN family,” said Don Peterson, general manager. “His passion for sports, strong local connections and storytelling ability are exactly what our listeners crave. We are really excited about this new show and the coverage it will bring to local sports.”

In addition to his new hosting duties, Bourquin will continue as the voice of Mount Union Purple Raider football and basketball, heard locally at AM1310WDPN.com. He will also handle play-by-play broadcasts for high school football and basketball games on Q92RadioSports.com.

With his new show and continued presence across multiple platforms, Bourquin further solidifies his role as a staple of Northeast Ohio broadcasting. WDPN leaders say they’re proud to provide a new home base for one of the area’s most recognizable voices in sports media.
