It’s been nearly two weeks since a portion of U.S. Route 30 was restricted to one lane heading east following the opening of a sinkhole.
Right now, U.S. 30 is restricted to one lane heading East on the left side.
City engineers in Canton are hoping to open another eastbound lane on U.S. 30 by the end of this week.
The ramp from 77 North to US 30 E is closed due to the sinkhole.
