The New Philadelphia Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred in the early morning hours of Monday morning.
The deceased is a 76-year-old man who is a resident of New Philadelphia. Police were dispatched to the victim’s residence in the 100 block of 5th St. SW.
Chief Mike Goodwin said no other information is available right now until all notifications have been made to the victim’s family.
