Louisville High School is returning Jeff Couto as its girls’ basketball coach, the school announced on Saturday.

Couto led the Leopards from 1999 to 2008, winning three Northeastern Buckeye Conference titles (2005-06, 2006-07, 2007-08) and four District IV Coach of the Year honors during that span. Couto compiled a 127-74 record during his first tenure with Louisville.

Couto, who also coached Perry High School’s girls’ basketball team from 2014-17, will succeed outgoing Leopards coach Chris Esterak, who went 23-22 in two seasons as Louisville’s head coach.
