For those of you who have procrastinated, it’s time to finally renew your Ohio driver’s license and/or vehicle registrations by July 1.

Back in November of 2020, Governor Mike DeWine signed a bill that extended the expiration date for drivers licenses, identification cards and vehicle registrations from March 9, 2020 to April 1, 2021 and remain valid until July 1.

According to the BMV, approximately 100,000 driver licenses and 221,000 vehicle registrations with expiration dates that had been exempted under the extension need renewed by the July 1 deadline.
