While parked on a closed portion of I-77, a Canton police cruiser was damage and an officer injured when a suspected impaired driver drove through barricades, according to Canton police.
Officials said the officer and suspected impaired driver were transported to the hospital with injuries and later released. The suspect was charged with felony possession of controlled substance and multiple traffic offenses, by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
