The name of the woman killed in a two-vehicle crash late Thursday morning in Stark County has been released.
Jackson Township Police identified the victim as 55-year-old Gaye Rothacher of Bolivar. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash was reported at 10:48 a.m. at the intersection of Wales Avenue and Strausser Street NW, according to a news release from the department.
One person involved in the crash was taken to Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital, while another was treated and released at the scene, authorities said.
A white minivan was one of the vehicles involved in the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
