One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash late Thursday morning in Stark County, according to police.
The collision was reported at 10:48 a.m. at the intersection of Wales Avenue and Strausser Street NW, the Jackson Township Police Department said in a news release.
One person involved in the crash was taken to Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital, while another was treated and released at the scene, authorities said.
Police said the name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next-of-kin.
A white minivan was one of the vehicles involved in the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. No additional details were immediately available.
