AMC Theatres is slashing ticket prices midweek to help moviegoers save money this summer.

Beginning July 9, the chain will launch its new “50% Off Wednesdays” deal, offering adult evening movie tickets at half price every Wednesday. The promotion will be open to both new and existing members of the AMC Stubs loyalty program.

Joining AMC Stubs is free, and the offer will be valid at all AMC locations across the United States.

“We’re thrilled to make moviegoing more affordable for our guests,” said AMC CEO and Chairman Adam Aron in a statement. “This type of pricing wasn’t feasible until we started seeing consistent box office success. But with strong performances in April and May, and an encouraging outlook for the rest of 2025, now is the right time.”

AMC will continue to honor its existing discount program on Tuesdays for members as well.

The company operates roughly 900 theaters and 10,000 screens worldwide. More information on how to sign up for AMC Stubs can be found on the company’s website.
