Police responded to a fight at Belden Village Mall Friday evening, following reports of a physical altercation between adults.
According to the Jackson Township Police Department, officers were called to the mall, located at 4230 Belden Village Mall Circle NW, at approximately 6:20 p.m. on Dec. 27. Authorities determined that the fight stemmed from a verbal dispute that escalated into a physical confrontation.
Police emphasized that the incident does not appear to be connected to recent disturbances involving juveniles at other area malls, such as last week’s unruly behavior at Summit Mall in Fairlawn.
The investigation is ongoing, and charges are pending. Police have not released additional details at this time.
