An Alliance City School bus carrying approximately 50 elementary students was involved in an accident this morning on State Street in front of Sheetz gas station.
The accident occurred at around 8:15 a.m. on Bus #17, which was transporting students to Alliance Elementary School. According to school officials, all students and staff on board are safe. Students were transported to school on a different bus and have arrived without incident.
Alliance City Schools is in the process of personally contacting the families of all students who were on the bus to inform them of the situation. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
