Police are asking the public for assistance in locating Vernisha Hawkins, 42, of Alliance, who was reported missing by her family early Sunday.
Hawkins was last seen in Alliance on Friday and was reportedly last heard from around 4 p.m. during a phone call while she was in a car. She has not returned home, answered her phone, or been active on social media since Friday, according to family members who expressed concern for her safety.
Anyone with information on Hawkins’ whereabouts is urged to contact the Alliance Police Department at (330) 821-9140 and ask for Patrolman Griffith.
