A shooting on Oct. 22 left one person dead and two injured, according to Canton Police Chief John Gabbard. Officers responded to a 911 call at 8:19 p.m. in the area of 10th Street NW and High Avenue NW, where they found a 19-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound. She was transported to Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital by Canton Fire Department medics and is in stable condition.

Shortly after, Rajhion Davis, 18, arrived at the same hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

Investigators believe both injuries occurred during the same incident. The circumstances are still under investigation. This marks the second gun-related homicide in Canton this year, with the first taking place on March 3.
