The Wellsville Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred earlier this week on 10th Street, police confirmed.
According to Police Chief Eddie Wilson, the shooting took place between 11 p.m. and midnight on Monday, he told Youngstown TV station WKBN. One individual was shot and killed in the incident, prompting an investigation by local authorities.
Wilson reported that there are currently two persons of interest in the case. He stated that charges will be filed as the investigation continues and confirmed that the incident has been ruled a homicide.
Authorities are urging anyone with information related to the shooting to come forward as the investigation unfolds.
