Brown Local Schools canceled classes for all students on Friday, September 6, following a threat directed at the district overnight.
Superintendent Mark Scott announced the decision after consulting with local law enforcement, which advised that more time was needed to investigate the validity of the threat.
“Student and staff safety is always our top priority,” Scott said in a statement.
Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
