The Perry Township Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning at the Chase Motel, located at 3400 Lincoln Way East.
Officers responded to the scene shortly after the incident, which left one individual with a gunshot wound to the arm. The victim received immediate medical assistance and was transported to a local hospital by the Perry Township Fire Department.
“The investigation into this incident is ongoing,” Perry Police Chief Bryan Taylor said. “We are committed to conducting a thorough and detailed inquiry to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.”
The shooting remains under investigation.
