Authorities are seeking the public’s help in locating three suspects from the Canton area, with a reward offered for information leading to their capture.
The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force announced a reward for tips that could help apprehend Cassandra Cheek, Jermaine Taylor, and Tyson Dean. The suspects are wanted by the Canton Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service on charges of kidnapping and felonious assault.
Taylor, Cheek, and Dean are accused of holding victims in a basement in the 1500 block of Clark Avenue SW from July 10 to July 12. During this period, the suspects allegedly inflicted severe injuries on the victims by beating them with a baseball bat and pistol-whipping them.
Jermaine Taylor, 33, is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing around 174 pounds. Cassandra Cheek, 34, is about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs approximately 140 pounds. Tyson Dean, 46, is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs around 150 pounds. The three suspects are known to frequent the Cleveland and Akron areas.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Taylor, Cheek, or Dean is urged to contact the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force at 1-866-4WANTED or submit a tip online at www.usmarshal.gov/tips. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
