The Stark County Sheriff’s Office will hold a press conference today on the investigation into the disappearance of Raychel Sheridan, a 24-year-old from Plain Township. The briefing is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. in the front training room of the Stark County Sheriff’s Office at 4500 Atlantic Blvd NE.
Deputies were called to the 4100 block of Orchard Dale Drive NW in Plain Township at 12:32 p.m. Tuesday to investigate Sheridan’s disappearance. After an extensive search, Sheridan was entered into the national database as a missing person.
While at the scene, deputies observed a maroon Jeep Liberty, believed to be registered to Sheridan, traveling on Guilford Ave NW. They initiated a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, 26-year-old Sean Goe of Plain Township. Goe fled on foot, prompting deputies to pursue and deploy a K-9 unit. Despite their efforts, they were unable to locate him. Goe was last seen in the area of 38th Street NW and Guilford Ave NW.
Goe has active warrants for burglary, grand theft of a firearm, and domestic violence. He is wanted for questioning in connection with Sheridan’s disappearance.
Anyone with information about this case or the whereabouts of Raychel Sheridan or Sean Goe is urged to contact the Stark County Sheriff’s Office at 330-430-3800.
