‘Large scale’ gas leak prompts evacuations in Uniontown neighborhoods

Residents of the Heritage Glen and Enclave allotments are being evacuated due to a large-scale gas leak along Class Avenue NW. The Uniontown Fire Department issued the evacuation notice on Facebook, urging all residents on Class Avenue to leave their homes immediately.

Families needing assistance with reunification can go to the Uniontown Fire Department or call 330-699-3239 for questions. The fire department is coordinating efforts to ensure residents are safe and receive the necessary support during this emergency.

Authorities are working to address the gas leak and will provide updates as more information becomes available. Residents are advised to stay clear of the affected area until it is deemed safe to return.
