A 44-year-old man from Beloit was arrested over the weekend for allegedly making threats towards Alliance Hospital, leading to a temporary lockdown of the facility.
According to a report from the Alliance Police Department, the suspect, Jeremy Hanson, was escorted out of the hospital after visiting a parent who was being treated. After his removal, Hanson allegedly made a threat directed at the hospital.
The incident prompted the hospital to initiate a lockdown as a precautionary measure.
Early Monday morning, Hanson turned himself in to the Salem Police Department. He was wanted on active arrest warrants for Making Terroristic Threats (F-3) and Aggravated Menacing (M-1) out of the Alliance Municipal Court. Hanson was processed and transported to the Stark County Jail.
