The Canton Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is currently investigating a fatal crash that transpired on Thursday, April 4, at approximately 9:24 AM along State Route 43 at Ed-Stein Drive SE in Canton Township, Stark County.
The collision involved Korina Green, 36, of Malvern, who was operating a red 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee, traveling southbound on State Route 43, and John Dvorovy, 80, of Massillon, who was operating a white 2012 Lincoln MKZ, turning northbound onto State Route 43 from Ed-Stein Drive SE.
Dvorovy’s vehicle was struck by Green’s, according to troopers.
Green sustained minor injuries and was transported from the scene to Aultman Hospital by Canton Township Fire Department EMS. Dvorovy endured severe injuries during the crash, he was transported to Aultman Hospital by Canton Township Fire Department EMS.
Dvorovy succumbed to his injuries and was later pronounced deceased that afternoon.
The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
