Canton Police recovered two guns, various ammunition, and suspected drugs while executing a search warrant in Canton Tuesday evening.
According to Canton Police Chief John Gabbard, the special investigations unit executed the search at 1348 Cleveland Ave NW Apt. #6.
During the search of the apartment, officials collected one semi-auto handgun, one semi-auto rifle, various types of ammunition, and suspected heroin and methamphetamines.
““This warrant service was the result of our ongoing efforts to reduce gun violence in Canton,” Chief Gabbard said. “I am proud of the great work Canton Police Officers do every day.”
Police arrested the following individuals:
- Tau’zon J. Stewart, 21 years old.
o Warrant for Receiving Stolen Property (F4)
o Warrant for Leaving the scene of an accident (M1)
o Warrant for Failure to control Vehicle/Full time attention (MM)
o Having Weapons Under Disability (F3) – Two Counts
o Aggravated Possession of Drugs (F5)
- Javion R. Young, 20 years old.
o Having Weapons Under Disability (F3) – Two Counts
- Marvion Williams, 20 years old.
o Obstructing Official Business (M2)
The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are pending.
