Just one day after a startling accident involving a Marlington school bus overturning with 19 middle and high school students aboard, the district is now handling a second crash involving one of their buses.
The second crash happened Tuesday afternoon around 3:25 p.m.
The bus was involved in a two-vehicle accident on State Route 44 just south of Pontius Street. The bus, full of Marlboro Elementary students, was rear-ended by a vehicle.
All 14 students were evaluated on scene. Four students were released to their parents and ten students were transported home on a different bus.
“Student safety is always our top priority,” Marlington Superintendent Dan Swisher said.
